01Who we are
Get Smart Cooking is a website operated by Costa Launch LLC, a Texas limited liability company based at 2001 Timberloch Place, The Woodlands, Texas 77380. The site supports the activities of Natascha Costa, an independent Thermomix Advisor authorized by Vorwerk USA. We are not affiliated with Vorwerk corporate communications. We run this site to help home cooks learn about the Thermomix and decide if it fits their kitchen.
In this policy, "we," "us," and "our" refer to Costa Launch LLC and Natascha Costa collectively, where context allows. "You" refers to anyone who visits getsmartcooking.com or contacts us through any of the channels listed on the site.
02What we collect
We collect only what we need to understand who visits the site and to continue the conversation when you message us. Here is the full list.
Information you give us directly
- Your name and phone number, when you start a WhatsApp conversation with us
- The content of messages you send to us through WhatsApp, SMS, or email
- Anything else you choose to share during our conversations (cooking preferences, location for shipping or demos, availability, etc.)
Information collected automatically
- Browser type, operating system, device type, and screen size
- IP address and approximate location (city/state level)
- Pages you visited, time spent, and how you arrived at the site (referrer)
- Which buttons you clicked, with timestamps
We do not ask for, store, or process any payment information, credit card numbers, social security numbers, or government IDs on this website. Any purchase of a Thermomix happens directly through Vorwerk's official systems.
03How we use it
We use the information we collect for these purposes, and only these purposes:
- To respond to your messages and answer your questions about the Thermomix
- To guide you through buying a Thermomix or joining the Advisor program, if you ask
- To send you follow-up information you specifically requested (recipes, financing details, demo schedules)
- To understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it
- To measure which ads and content actually bring people to us
- To comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with anyone outside of the third-party services listed in section 5, all of whom process data on our behalf under their own privacy policies.
05Third-party services
We use the following services to run the site and our communications. Each operates under its own privacy policy. We recommend reading them.
- Meta Platforms (WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, Meta Pixel): communications and advertising. Privacy policy

- Anthropic (Claude AI): powers Bella, the assistant that handles the first part of WhatsApp conversations. Privacy policy
- Our hosting provider and CRM: store messages, contact details, and notes from our conversations
- Vorwerk / Thermomix USA: when you choose to buy a Thermomix, you transact directly with Vorwerk. Privacy policy
We share with these services only what they need to do their job, and they are contractually required to keep your data secure.
06WhatsApp and Bella
The primary way we talk to you is WhatsApp. When you click any "Chat with me" button on this site, you are taken to WhatsApp with a pre-filled message. Sending that message starts a conversation with us.
The first part of your WhatsApp conversation is handled by Bella, an AI assistant that runs on top of Anthropic's Claude model. Bella reads your messages, generates responses, and may store the conversation history so we can pick up where you left off. A real person (Natascha) reviews conversations and joins in personally when relevant.
Bella exists to give you fast, accurate answers. She does not make purchases on your behalf, does not request sensitive information (passwords, payment details, government IDs), and will hand you over to a human whenever you ask.
The full content of WhatsApp messages flows through Meta's WhatsApp Business infrastructure, which is end-to-end encrypted between you and our number. We retain a copy of the conversation for context and follow-up.
07How long we keep data
- WhatsApp conversations and contact details: kept while you are an active lead or customer, plus up to 24 months after your last interaction, unless you ask us to delete sooner
- Analytics data (Google Analytics): aggregated for up to 14 months, then deleted automatically
- Meta Pixel data: retained by Meta per their policy, typically up to 180 days for ad attribution
- Email correspondence: kept while relevant, deleted on request
If you ask us to delete your data, we will do so within 30 days, except where we are legally required to keep certain records.
08Your rights
Depending on where you live, you have certain rights regarding your personal information.
If you live in the United States
Under laws like the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and similar state laws (Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and others), you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we have collected about you
- Request a copy of that information
- Ask us to correct inaccurate information
- Ask us to delete your information
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell, but you can still opt out of analytics and advertising cookies)
- Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights
If you live in the European Union or UK
Under the GDPR and UK GDPR, you have the rights above plus the right to data portability, the right to object to processing, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
How to use these rights
Email support@getsmartcooking.com with your request. We will verify your identity (usually by confirming a detail from a previous conversation) and respond within 30 days.
09Children's privacy
This site is intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has shared information with us, contact support@getsmartcooking.com and we will delete it.
10Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time as our practices change or as laws evolve. When we do, we will update the "effective date" at the top of this page. Material changes will be highlighted on the home page for at least 14 days.
If you have been talking with us on WhatsApp, we will send you a quick message when something important changes. We will not surprise you.
